Monkeys

November 4th, 2004

If you give an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of violins (and other instruments associated with an orchestra) and give them an infinite amount of time, they will eventually play Beethoven's 9th symphony. You are allowed to take either ONE person or ONE electronic device to the event. What do you take and why?

Follow-up question: If you could request the monkeys try to play another song, what song would it be? Please stick to instrumental songs ...

i bring roy with me... and show him the mess he created and just hope that the monkeys fling their crap in his direction.. that'll learn him for pondering silly questions.

I would bring Pete with me, so he could fit in with the monkeys, and possibly live and play with them.

look, if i had an infinite amount of monkeys, and gave them certain necessary tools. I want to see them build a nuclear arsenal and take out mankind.

They did the experiment with monkeys sitting in front of a computer to see if they would type Hamlet.

For the most part, they only ended up putting their own crap all over the computer.

And I'd pick Mason Williams' "Classical Gas".
